The Satanic Temple's International Day of Action
This international initiative begins May 1, a day often observed in the United States as the National Day of Prayer. Rather than offering “thoughts and prayers,” The Satanic Temple is encouraging people worldwide to take meaningful action by donating blood and doing measurable good.
According to the American Red Cross, someone in the United States needs blood every two seconds. Blood donations are essential for patients undergoing surgery, cancer treatment, treatment for chronic illnesses, and recovery from traumatic injuries. Lifesaving care begins with a single person choosing to donate — yet only 3% of eligible Americans donate blood each year.
TST donors have already made a significant impact.
Last year, The Satanic Temple’s American Red Cross donor team ranked 80th out of more than 70,000 teams nationwide and helped impact over 20,000 lives.
As of March 2026, our team has risen to 46th place and has impacted more than 40,000 lives — with much of that increase driven by participation in last year’s blood drive.
Every donation can help save multiple lives. We are excited to see how much good TST's community can accomplish together this year.
